Sadly some people find the same problem when they try to get rid of a timeshare after many years of ownership. They may have tried to rent it only to realize that with the cost of advertising they won't even cover their costs.

They then try to get rid of it on Redweek, TUG2 and other reputable places only to find that their timeshare does not sell because nobody wants it.

In desperation they usually try to donate it or give it away on ebay, but if it won't cover the maintenance fees nobody will want it.

With the threat of a special assessment looming and the financial obligation getting worse every year timeshare owners who want to get rid of a timeshare have little choice but to pay for a service like http://www.getridofatimeshare.com, it might be a difficult pill to swallow but at least they do not charge upfront. It works like a sale so the fee is held in escrow.

It is useful to know your service exists and we will definitely be referring new timeshare owners to your practice.

I was hustle in signing for a time share contract. Not to mention that I/we were also very tipsy from walking the strip enjoying my self with my girlfriend when I guy came up to us selling George Wallace tickets all we have to do is sit in a presentation and we'll get the tickets. That was no problem but there hustle game was so strong before that I knew it, it was the next day and we had some reciepts for a time share. So i called them with the number provided and stated that Idid not want a time shre andthat I wanted to cancel anything that was done. The guy stated to me that he have to wait for his boss to come off vacation because he is theonly one tht cancel the package.. Basicaly I got the run around and when I went to do reseach I found out that I had five days to cancel, I found this out on the sixth say. Now it's day 10 and now they are telling me that I'm stuck with the contract... But I never recieved a disclosure notice stating how to cancel if Iwanted to. I'm lost and cant afford a time share at all due to low pay and high child support leaves me with very little between pay days.. Pls can u help me out with this
